• Image of "The wall had it coming." ~ Old Seward Hey Sock

This is now a dyed to order skein, please allow one to two weeks after order date before shipping.

Sherlock needs the mental stimulation that comes from solving interesting crimes. Sitting back and doing a sudoku puzzle just won't cut it, that's why "the wall took a pounding" in episode three.

The Old Seward Hwy Sock yarn is 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. It is just as soft as the Dimond Blvd Sock yarn and knits with fabulous stitch definition but has the extra durability of the nylon. Perfect for socks, each skein is approximately 100 grams and 400 yards of yarny yummy-ness. Although this yarn machine washable, I always recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Each skein of yarn is dyed by my hands and is a unique work of art. Though they are all made with the same color recipe, no two will be exactly alike and because of that, I recommend alternating skeins in big projects.

I make every effort to fully exhaust all the dye during the dying process, as well as rinsing until the water runs clear. However, there is always the possibility that there is still a small amount of dye left in the yarn so I recommend hand washing the finished garment separately for the first time.

Coloring is accurate on my monitor, but may slightly differ on yours, please take this into account.

I will ship to other countries, but because of the new postal prices I ask that you send me a question so we can talk shipping costs and options to your country. I will refund excessive shipping.

I live with pets, cats and a hypoallergenic dog, although I keep my fiber separate from them and in tubs and bags, some stray hairs may happen.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
