Dancing Fire in the Night ~ 4th Ave Sock

This absolutely gorgeous colorway was created with layers upon layers of color sprayed on top of each other like layers to an oil painting. The dark bands of color with the sparkle of stellina in this yarn give the impression of a night sky littered with stars, while the pools of bright create within the knitted object your very own northern lights.

The 4th Ave Sock base has a luxurious gold shimmer to it created by a 5% stellina content. The 75% SW Merino makes this yarn super soft while the 20% nylon adds strength. The perfect yarn for flashy socks or a sparkly shawl! Each skein weighs in at 100g and approximately 438 yards. Although this yarn is machine washable, I always recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Each skein of yarn is dyed by my hands and is a unique work of art. Though they are all made with the same color recipe, no two will be exactly alike and because of that, I recommend alternating skeins in big projects.

I make every effort to fully exhaust all the dye during the dying process, as well as rinsing until the water runs clear. However, there is always the possibility that there is still a small amount of dye left in the yarn so I recommend hand washing the finished garment separately for the first time.

Coloring is accurate on my monitor, but may slightly differ on yours, please take this into account.
