Sherlock Gloried in His Purple Shirt of Sex ~ Huffman Road Sock

The Huffman Road yarn is an amazingly soft and luscious 80/10/10 MCN base. Use it for a next to skin soft item like a cowl or shawl, or you could even make a pair of special socks. Each skein is approximately 100 grams and 435 yards of fluffy heaven. Although this yarn is machine washable, I always recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Each skein of yarn is dyed by my hands and is a unique work of art. Though they are all made with the same color recipe, no two will be exactly alike and because of that, I recommend alternating skeins in big projects.

I make every effort to fully exhaust all the dye during the dying process, as well as rinsing until the water runs clear. However, there is always the possibility that there is still a small amount of dye left in the yarn so I recommend hand washing the finished garment separately for the first time.

Coloring is accurate on my monitor, but may slightly differ on yours, please take this into account.

I live with pets, cats and a hypoallergenic dog, although I keep my fiber separate from them and in tubs and bags, some stray hairs may happen.
